Scuba diving for artifacts under Candlewood Lake is also a popular activity, and Brookfield has many dive shops for this activity.

Boating is one of the major activities that can be enjoyed most of the year in Candlewood Lake, with 10 huge fully-stocked marinas around the lake. Conveniently located launch ramps are very accessible for boaters. If you don’t own a boat, you can rent from a wide selection of 24-foot pontoon boats, canoes, runabouts, and kayaks from any of the marinas. The Candlewood Lake Authority’s patrol enforces a speed limit is 45 mph at daytime and 25 mph at nighttime.
