LEGO Workshop

When: January 18, 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Admission: $25 – $55

Take the kids (recommended ages 7 and up) out to the Stamford Museum and Nature Center for an afternoon filled with LEGO fun! Your children will be able to learn from expert builders about the design and building process; additionally, they will have the opportunity to race their car, which in the end is theirs to keep!

Father and Son 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament

When: January 18, 6:30 – 9:00 pm

Admission: $18

Calling all father-son combos, this one is for you! Head out to the Jewish Community Center in Stamford for a game of 3-on-3 basketball. The tournament is open to children in grades 6 through 12, as well as members of the community center and members of the community in general. This will be a great way to spend time with your child(ren) and get out and do something active.

Astronomy Nights Jupiter

When: January 24, 7:00 – 8:00 pm

Admission: Free for members, $2-$3 for non-members

Make your way out to the Stamford Museum and Nature Center for a new and exciting series of astronomy programs. The observatory will feature the beauty of the night sky, planets, stars and so much more. Your will begin your journey of outer space with a tour of Jupiter, then you will have the opportunity to visit the night sky in a 22” telescope.

Fairfield Back & Forth: Imagery By Artist Miggs Burroughs

When: All month long, 10:00 am

Admission: $3-$5

Grab the whole family and make your way out to Fairfield Museum and History Center for a new lenticular photography show. People of all ages will be mesmerized by images that transform from 19th century photos to present-day scenes.

Live Entertainment at 55 Wine Bar & Restaurant

When: Every Friday, 10:30 pm – 1:30 am

Admission: Free
